The Picks - Week #10

Kris - 2-5 Last Week, 25-37 Overall
Fongers - 3-4 Last Week, 28-34 Overall
Jim - 2-5 Last Week, 30-32 Overall
Drew - 4-3 Last Week, 38-24 Overall

#7 Penn State (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) -9.5 at #24 Michigan State (5-2, 4-1 Big Ten)
The Nittany Lions are reeling after a tough loss on the road against Ohio State last week, a loss that has almost shut the door on the Big Ten championship. On the other side of the ball, Michigan State ALSO had a debilitating loss against Northwestern in overtime. It looks like this game will be won by the team that can bounce back the best, and I think Penn State has the offense to do that.

Minnesota (4-4, 1-4 Big Ten) +15.5 at Michigan (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten)
PJ Fleck has said he wants to play this game just like a Michael Jackson concert, well Fleck will have to be a Smooth Criminal if he thinks he can steal a win at the Big House. Bad puns aside, this Michigan team seemed to play with a little more fire with Brandon Peters under center last week, and theyā€™ll look to continue that momentum.

#6 Ohio State (7-1, 5-0 Big Ten) -18.5 at Iowa (5-3, 2-3 Big Ten)
The Buckeyes have a huge wave of momentum after a comeback victory against Penn State last week, and as long as they can take care of business for the rest of the season, theyā€™ll punch their ticket to the playoff. However, the Hawkeyes are known to play teams well when theyā€™re at home, that pink locker room may have an effect on this game.

#5 Oklahoma (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) +2.5 at #11 Oklahoma State (7-1, 4-1 Big 12)
Itā€™ll be bedlam in Bedlam this weekend, with a game that could turn the Big 12 into bedlam. If Oklahoma is able to pull out the win, that will give IOWA STATE the keys to win the conference. Something that drive college football into all sorts of chaos, which make college football even better.

#19 LSU (6-2, 3-1 SEC) +21.5 at #2 Alabama (8-0, 5-0 SEC)
According to advanced metrics, Alabama has had the WORST strength of schedule of any power 5 team so far this season, which makes it even more confusing why this team is number two in the country. LSU has a couple embarrassing losses on their schedule, but theyā€™ll look to upset Alabama and move into first place in the SEC West.

#13 Virginia Tech (7-1, 3-1 ACC) -1 at #10 Miami (7-0, 5-0 ACC)
Miami has a huge chip on his shoulder after being disrespected in the first College Football Playoff rankings. These are the games they have to win if they want to find themselves in the top 4 at the end of the year. The Hokies can put themselves in the driver seat in the ACC Coastal division with this win, so a definite must win for both teams.

Detroit (3-4) -2.5 at Green Bay (4-3)
The definition of a must win game for both teams. The Lions need to take advantage of a Rodgers-less Packer team, and Green Bay needs to just try to stay above water while Rodgers is hurt, until his triumphant return late in the season. Detroits defense shut down Leveon Bell and Antonio Brown, but left Juju Smith-Schuster to go off for a big day.
