Megan Morehouse - Zeeland East - Girls Basketball
This past Fall, Megan Morehouse was crowned Homecoming queen for the Class of 2019 at Zeeland East High School, but that is just one of Meg's many accomplishments in her high school career! A 3.8 student in the classroom, Meg is a 3-sport standout for the Chix in girls athletics with basketball being her top sport. A now 4-year varsity player for the brown and gold, she was named the Holland Sentinel Player of the Year last year as a junior and has been a 3-year captain on the team. Meg also is a multiple year varsity player for the Chix girls' soccer and volleyball teams earning 1st team all-conference and all-area honors in both! When not playing or practicing sports, Meg serves on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee at Zeeland East High School and is the Chix Coop Section Leader! She also volunteers at Camp Sunshine in the summer and has gone on youth group mission trips through her church.
