Meijer Prep Athlete of the Week this week is Zoe Castor - Cedar Springs High School - Competitive Cheer!
Zoe Castor has been a cheerleader for 13 years and counting now in the Cedar Spring community, as she is a team member of the Red Hawks Sideline and Competitive Cheer teams! Last year, Zoe helped lead her team to the state meet and was honored with 2nd Team - All-State accolades. She also was named as the 2018 Red Flannel Queen and represented her hometown for that whole year at different events. A 3.95 student in the classroom, Zoe is also an all-district softball player for the Red Hawks in the spring with a batting average of .470 last year! Next year, she plans on attending Grand Valley State University, and hopes to compete for the Lakers in either softball or on the cheer team.
