The Minnesota Vikings lost to the Los Angeles Rams last night in a stand-alone Thursday Night Football game and all anybody is talking about is the missed facemask call that resulted in a game-clinching safety for the Rams. This isn’t the first missed facemask call that has affected the results of a game but it may be the one that instigates change in the NFL replay procedures. Sometimes all it takes is a moment to force the league to do the right thing.
Dan Patrick: “All it takes is a moment, a stand-alone moment, that’s when the NFL changes things. When somebody gets hurt, or how they get hurt, or a scoring play, ‘Hey, we’re going to review push-tush, we’re going to review all of these things...’ That’s what it takes.”
